The jar is hefty at 600 grams, so this should last me a few months of baking and stirring into tea. It's got that thick, bittersweet depth I expect from blackstrap, and I couldn't tell any difference between the classic and new packaging when mine arrived.
I've been drizzling this into my morning oatmeal and it gives it this deep, caramel-like richness that plain sugar just can't touch. The 600g jar has lasted me a good while, and knowing it comes from South America makes me feel a bit better about my purchase.
The new packaging is a nice touch, but honestly I'm just thrilled the consistency stayed exactly the same—this batch is rich and dark, perfect for stirring into my morning oatmeal. One jar has lasted me over a month with daily use, so 600g is a solid value for the price.
